Done, Done, Done, Done (the wedding song)

Classes just finished and someone managed to pull all A’s again (which this semester was a fairly large accomplishment) and is ready for the wedding to be here. The house is nice and clean thanks to SUPER MOM and her handy dandy roomba (on loan for the season). Tim got me a wonderful early Christmas present of a roomba to clean and vacuum all of the floors (that way he doesn’t have to vacuum every other day).

Since classes are all done it is time to really focus on the approaching wedding at hand (hence the done, done, done, done. [Aren't I clever!]) Low and behold I go to look and see what needs to be done next, and everything is already done. Mom has a daily to do list on the fridge, but really, everything is done. No more wedding crafties to work on :( . Tim and I are finally starting to feel like the wedding is approaching. It does seem like we actually got engaged a little over 6 months ago and that the wedding is really in 2 weeks. AHHHHH!! We are both really look forward to it and getting to see all of our family. I am looking forward to at least one week of almost total relaxation due to lack of homework (What am I going to do with all that spare time…. that’s right…. sleep for a change). Anywho, I have to start in on that relaxing. Know that I cannot wait to see you all at the wedding and know that no matter what the weather is like, we’re definitely going to party the night away. I pray that the roads are nice and that we all drive safely.

It’s Official

Well…. it’s official, Tim and I are getting married. You’re probably wondering why it wasn’t official before. Well, technically it was, but now the invitations are out and people are coming. It’s been a while since my last post, sorry about that. Things have been crazy busy. Tim’s figuring things out with work and I’ve been more than slightly busy with school. This week is clinical week and I get to teach all week long in a fourth grade classroom. Today was the first day and it actually went surprisingly well. I get to work with a very small class of only 17 and I get to team teach with a very reliable and responsible partner (it’s refreshing to work with someone that actually pulls their weight in a group project).

Tim and I are working on moving my stuff to Omaha this weekend. It will be nice to get that all taken care of and to see the light at the end of the tunnel that is this semester. Well, I have enjoyed let you all know how things are going, but I really should get back to homework. So, I will be back soon for another update. :)

Rain, Rain Go Away

Well, Saturday was my shower. It was a blast. I showed up at Lisa’s house the night before to see how things were going. I don’t think I have ever seen her house look so nice. It was absolutely beautiful. The family all went out for breakfast the next morning. Lisa showed us this great little mom and pop place in Elkhorn. We then returned to Lisa’s house and before I knew it, the guys were leaving and the girls started to show up. Almost everybody was able to make it. Lisa had us play this great game. The only down side to it was I ended having 10 pieces of Hubba Bubba bubble gum in my mouth *yuck*. It was the newly wed game and Lisa had asked Tim a bunch of questions and recorded all his answer. I did ok, I got half the questions right. After that is was times for presents. I got such great gifts. After presents everybody talked for a little bit and then it was time to go. We cleaned up a bit, Tim and Corey came over to help haul all of the stuff to Corey’s Jeep. Lisa and Noah made everybody a delicious dinner of hamburgers. All in all, it was about the best weekend ever :D . I hope to put some pictures up soon, but I don’t have any of them. Feel free to go check on Lisa’s Blog at http://teamanderson.wordpress.com she has a bunch of pictures from the shower. Thanks for checking in :D

Well hello there.  This would be the Tim and Ali blog, otherwise known as Tali (thanks to Cody).  We may not officially be Tali Jensen yet, but I figured its close enough.  This way we get to share all of our wedding updates and such.  I hope you are all wonderfully entertained by our life, (goodness knows somebody needs to laugh at the stupid things we do).  I’m excited to get things started and wanted to just let everyone know that we’re here and that you can feel free to check in on us.
